LOGLINE: Two old blokes, one filthy garden. A smut-soaked audio comedy commentary, where double entendre grows wild, and pruning is rarely just about plants.

SERIES SYNOPSIS: Dirty Gardeners follows the chaotic lives of Harry Cox, a sprightly, unfiltered pensioner with a passion for pruning and a penchant for bad taste, and Rishi Stivardh, his increasingly traumatised housemate. Set in a fictional English garden shed, the series is packed with twitchy topiary, pulsating pollinators, emotionally unstable compost heaps and suggestive hoseplay.

Saucy, quick-witted, playful. Think ‘The Archers’ meets ‘Carry On’. (One part Alan Bennett, one part Blackpool seafront postcard).

CAST & CHARACTERS

Harry and Rishi aren’t just two blokes making innuendo. They genuinely see the world differently. The filth comes from Harry. The exasperation comes from Rishi. Together they’re almost a British version of a classic odd-couple comedy pairing where one follows instinct and the other follows logic, but both are equally ridiculous.

Anthony Straeger plays HARRY COX

Harry has spent forty years in gardens and has learned absolutely nothing useful. Everything reminds him of sex. A flower isn’t just a flower. It’s an invite. Compost is getting down and dirty. Bulbs need a firm bedding! He never laughs at his own jokes. To him, horticulture is about power and propagation!

O’neil Sharma plays RISHI STIVARDH

Rishi is convinced he’s the professional. He arrives with proper tools, Latin plant names, measurements, schedules and a clipboard. He desperately wants the programme to be informative. Every episode begins with hope. Every episode ends with Harry destroying that hope. Rishi spends most of his time trying to rescue perfectly innocent gardening conversations before they descend into absolute filth.
