SPONGE is a gangster who after facing certain death in a nightclub massacre in Southampton, survived thanks to his toughness and mitigating circumstances.
Since then he has made amends for his crimes and become a reformed character – No more drugs. – No more booze – No more violence – No more evidence!
Why do they call him SPONGE? I hear you ask – It’s because he can soak up a lot of punishment!… And he’s a right ‘Geezer’ AND he’s got a face only a mother can love… Assuming she’s blind!

The Gangster Grind: A Year in the Making
A smart a*se once said: ‘Rome wasn’t built in a day’ – And neither was this web series!
It started with a point and an idea, and developed into treatment written on a bald nonce’s nut.
From the first script, it turned into a year-long, one-man army roller coaster of blood, sweat, and foul language. It’s been a tight ar*ed hustle! Late nights, Technical Traumas, and moments that had even the toughest gangster crying in his underpants. But through the mishaps, mayhem and madness, the beast was brought to life.
The Journey:
It all kicked off with Episode 1: Introducing Da Management, setting the tone for a series packed with streetwise wit, sharp humour, and a whole lotta attitude. As the weeks rolled by, each episode became its own adventure, sometimes smooth, sometimes like trying to escape the nick with a rusty spoon. Along the way, there were blown takes, forgotten lines, and enough behind-the-scenes chaos to fill a graveyard of indispensable people. That’s the name of the game. If you never gamble, you never win, and you never learn.
The Finale:
Now, after a year of grinding, the final episode has aired, closing the book on this naughty nonsense. Whether you’ve been here from day one or just jumped on board, you’re part of the clean-up crew. – And let’s face it, no gangster story is complete without the people who show up, watch, and throw in their two cents in the comments.
What’s Next?
Who knows? Maybe there’s a sequel in the works or a new venture is on the horizon. But one thing’s for sure, I’ll think of something.
